Working extensively in the EU funding sphere since 2010, Carl Steinbeisser founded the company in 2016, and we don't forget why we do what we do.

From proposals to the sustainability of project results, our mission is to reduce the burden for researchers and empower them to collaborate efficiently.

Meet the Team

Founder

Carl Steinbeisser

Carl is a project manager for European-funded projects for over 10 years. He has helped several high-impact research initiatives receive funding and is part of several large public-private projects.

He is based in Munich, Germany. When not working, he is taking care of his kids or is hiking in the Alps.

Jerina Hoxha

Jerina, an LMU Munich grad with a Master's in Molecular and Cellular Biology and an alumnus of Istanbul Technical University, discovered project management during her Master’s studies. She enjoyed it so much that she swapped her lab coat for a project manager's hat. When not juggling projects, she's cuddling with her favorite (and fluffiest) team members—her cats.

Ilaria Cambianica

Ilaria has a degree in medical biotechnology and a PhD in neuroscience. After spending a few years in the world of medical research in Italy and in Germany, she decided to take the path into project management. Outside of work, she likes spending time with her family and travelling.

Siddhanth Kedhagae

Siddhanth is a graduate in Genetic Engineering and later studied Evolution, Ecology, and Systematics at LMU, Munich. He has worked at Cerebrus, a knowledge consulting startup, where he gained experience in venture development. After multiple stints in life science research, he decided to tread down the path of research project management.

Anastasia Petrova

Anastasia has a background in nanobiophysics and biomedical research from the Biomedical Center, LMU. Also working as a Project Analyst in the biopharma industry, she focuses on data analysis, scientific reporting, and project coordination. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with beach volleyball and CrossFit.

Project manager for research projects (m/f/d)

We are Collaborate Project Management UG, a dynamic and growing company specializing in the management of public and private research projects. As we continue to expand and take on exciting new biomedical research initiatives, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team!

Your Role:

As a Project Manager for Research Projects and Proposals, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of large-scale biomedical research projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination for international research consortia.
Organizing and moderating online and in-person project meetings, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration.
Traveling within Europe 2-4 times per year for key project meetings and events.
Leading communication activities for research projects, including social media outreach, website updates, and webinars.
Supporting the writing and submission of grant proposals for Horizon Europe and other funding programs.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a proactive and organized professional with the following qualifications and skills:

A Master’s/PhD in pharmacology, biology, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline.
Experience or a strong interest in scientific research, grant applications, and research funding processes.
Excellent English writing and communication skills.
Work experience in project management.
A hands-on mentality, strong self-management skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
